Old threads? This forum or another.

Have you ever happened upon an old thread, read through the answers, and found that your thinking about the matter is completely different now from what it was a year or three ago?
I've always been steadfast in my way of thinking and doing, so no.

I do take in new info, and give it consideration, ongoing,
from multiple sources over time, and from others' ideas and experiences, and from my own additional experiences as well,
to varying degrees, in differing subjects;
therefore I continue learning and adding to my knowledge,
so I shift or add to, or drop, some of my earlier viewpoints and information.

Yes, that's great! I do the same Kaila. I don't always say my opinion has changed but I do strive to acknowledge I could've said better (if only it's to myself at times).

"completely different?" ...probably not…… and not usually in 'only' 1 year.....though possible, if I really learn something significant...

but 3 years? Well, maybe, or likely yes, for at least some topics, and to some degree....

Surprisingly, no. I happened to comment on old threads, which were repeated. And I found my comments from a lot earlier. I have to say that they are pretty much the same. I'm either a very consistent, thoughtful commentor, or really pig headed.
