Omg.....mace

If you google WISH, you’ll know what I’m referring to. I had ordered a lipstick size of mace, thought it would be a good idea for wife to carry, and when I cut open the package...it had leaked. I got some on my finger and for some reason, only God knows, I took a whiff of it.

Long story short, my eyes burned, my nose was on fire and my upper lip felt like I had laid against a hot poker. Needless to say, this stuff works. I can’t imagine getting a face full of this stuff. About an hour later, the fire has gone out.

Said mace and package it came in are now disposed of properly. :eeew:

We once had a fired and disgruntled employee from another business on the floor of our building discharge a container of mace into the air intake for that floor, of course "accidentally". Just passing by and the mace container just "happened" to discharge in the worst possible space, y'know.....

Instant fire drill. Everyone's eyes were stinging.

OK, I googled "wish" and got some weird shopping website.

Pappy, I have pepper spray that I carry, is mace stronger than pepper spray?

Mace used by law enforcement is like tear gas - powerful stuff.

I also carry pepper stray....haven't tested it, but if something happened I don't know how quickly I could get it out.

Once I was forbidden to enter a federal bldg because they detected pepper spray in my purse. Had to leave and hide it outside.

I never experienced mace or pepper spray thankfully, I've never used my pepper but it's several years old, hope it still works. I don't know how quick I can get mine out in a panic, but it's usually in my cargo pant pocket and readily accessible. I think depending on the situation, I may not take it out immediately, but whip it out by surprise, ready for a second move especially if it doesn't work properly. I won't go down without a fight anyway.

Be advised that Capsicum is the main ingredient in Mace. Both the Federal government and Pennsylvania, along with other states, include Mace as a weapon. I would not walk into a Federal building or a state building, who’s state lists Mace as a weapon, carrying a can of Mace. You won’t like the outcome.

Remember: Ignorance is no excuse for breaking a law. (Just sayin’.)
