I can't pass up anything that depicts a cat. I think the main part is pewter, but the stem is magnetic. Google Lens points to it being a photo holder.

I don't see how it would hold a photo, other than awkwardly. Looks more like someplace you'd hang earrings...and the cat's wearing a matching collar.

Yes, awkwardly. Just looks kind of stupid to me; one photo sticking 4 or 5 inches up in the air, unframed.

Maybe on a work desk it would look fine, but not on your mantel or a shelf...not mine, anyway.

Oh yes! that's where I have seen them before, some of my work colleagues used to have them on their desks and used them to hold little reminder notes.

Probably, amidst the dirty mugs and half eaten chocolate bars. It didn't surprise me at all when, someone opened a desk drawer and there was a little mouse staring back at them!
