One baby here....one to go....

The first new baby (the spousal equivalent's granddaughter) showed up yesterday, weighing 8 lbs 9 ounces and very healthy. We haven't seen her yet, but in the picture she looks really, really mad! I captioned it, "They said to go toward the light and THIS was NOT what I expected!"

The second new baby (my first great-granddaughter) is due any time in the next three weeks. My granddaughter says she feels like she has been pregnant for two years and she's pretty sure she's carrying an elephant on a pogo-stick. Keep your fingers crossed!

Congratulations!!! New babies are a wonderful time. Well, okay it's kinda cute watching first time parents staggering along. My son has his son late night sometimes until Mommy comes home from work. Her rule is no pacifiers. Son is kinda losing himself at the moment. I'll have to pop over and help out.
