If there was one thing you could change about your residence, what would that be?

Enclose my front porch and put a bathroom and laundry room there.

Put a walk in shower in the bathroom! I now have a bathtub which I have never
used in the 10 years I have been here, and a shower stall that is so small that
I bump elbows every time I move around.
Management says they would consider it once the place is empty; meaning
when I am taken out feet first!

Roof in and screen in the patio. Put up a hammock. Vegetate.

A walk in shower. When my son renovated the bathroom a few years back he wanted to put one in. I told him I like a tub bath now and then. Amazing how creaky and stiff I got in a few short years. I Couldn't get down into the tub if my life depended on it let alone get back up..
A real extravagance would be a greenhouse attached to the side of the house. I have the perfect spot and I could enter from our basement. That would be pure heaven.

Oh my aching back. Wife just ordered a new stove, dishwasher, flooring, and counter top for the kitchen Island. Time for a massive re-do.
Does this mean the one thing I should change is the wife?

Too bad you couldn't buy my house, it has that type of porch, it's open though.

Rip out the wall-to-wall carpet and install wood floors throughout.

I always wanted a back stairway so when I come home, I could go right upstairs from the kitchen without having to walk to the front of the house. It would also make it easier to answer the back door if I'm upstairs and someone comes to the that door, otherwise I have to walk to the front of the house, descend the stairs and walk through the downstairs to the back door.

We’ve done our floors, put in new master bathroom, so we have yet to tackle the kitchen. It needs updating real bad.

Change downstairs bathroom,make it elderly friendly.

Walk in shower, grab bars,, taller toilet.
By time that got done would probably need new wall covering.

needs modern shower put in number 1...take out bath from second bathroom -put in another power shower yipppeee
then need new patio laid badly ….
