My husband and I been married for 44 years :love_heart: and we are so different from each other , it's hard to imagine it lasted that long ! He likes his man stuff , I like my lady stuff and we have a little overlap in the middle of things we both like. I guess "compromise" is the name of that game ! I also have a good friend who likes to fly by the seat of her pants .... take a chance - what have you got to lose kind of lady. I'm the opposite - I like to plan things out ,weigh the good & the bad ,take it slow ...and yet we both click ! Funny how that happens - even among brothers and sisters. Is there any "opposites" in your group of friends or even in your family ?

The Spousal Equivalent and I are just about as far apart in personalities as you can get. I'm an extrovert, he's an introvert. I take chances and he's cautious. I'm adventurous and he's....well, he's not. I'll eat anything that doesn't move faster than me and he...well, he won't. I like to be impulsive, he has to make plans and stick to them. He's early to bed and early to rise and I'm a nightowl who likes to sleep in. He likes TV and I like reading.

Y'know? It's worked for eight years. Hopefully it will keep on working.
