Being optimistic and hopeful may reduce the risk of stroke in the senior(s),
suggests the results of a study at the Univ. of Texas Medical Branch@ Galveston.

Upbeat moods and attitudes may, somehow, help the immune system function better.

Among American elderly, stroke is the third most common cause
of death
and the most common cause of long-term disability.

Consequently, the more positive outlook an individual has, the lower the risk of stroke!

Are you an Optimist?

I will take that article with a big grain of salt. My dad was one of the happiest people on the planet and loved life and everyone. He was not overweight and did not have high blood pressure. He had a massive stroke at 59 which almost killed him, but didn’t. He lived miserably another 14 years and then died of another big stroke at 73.
