Our Chicken will soon be processed in China, and then shipped back for consumers.

I have been gradually cutting down on the meat that I eat, partly because of the rising cost of meat, and partly because of all the diseases that are being spread through the meat right now, as well as the dangerous drugs they are giving the animals when raising them for food.
So far, chickens have been about as safe and affordable as any kind of meat to be able to eat. but now, i am reading about a deal being made with China, where our chickens are going to be sent there for processing and packaging, and then shipped back here for consumers to buy. The meat will not be specially labeled, so there will be no way of knowing whether or not you are eating chicken that has been processed in China.
China already processes much of our seafood, and has just recently purchased, Smithfield, the largest pork processing corporation in the United States.
Once the meat is being processed by China, the USDA will no longer be inspecting it.

Its really simple, just read the label and it will tell you where it was processed.

I seems they're using us Americans as guinea pigs, nobody is concerned with what is in our food, it's all about the money. Pink slime, meat glue, etc...makes you sick to think about it. I still eat meat, but try to be particular with the quality of what I buy. The health food store has non-GMO, natural chemical/antibiotic free, free-range chicken breasts for over $5 a pound. You have to have some money to buy the really quality stuff for sure! My dog and cat's food is very expensive. Was telling my hubby the other day that they used to say when people got old and ran out of money, they'd live of cat food...not a $1.29-$1.69 for a tiny can.

That's scary but it's obvious these US companies have the USDA in their pockets big time. Why wouldn't a chicken crap ceo want it be known where their products are packaged and processed. Or that they are outsourcing US jobs in a bad economy. Plus the longer anything is frozen it stands a chance of freezer burn or can dry out.

My guess is that it will be mostly the precooked breaded chicken meals or parts. My guess would be Tyson Foods is a candidate for this.

Speaking of food imports from China I noticed a lot of canned fruit from China. I kid you not Mandarin Oranges in particular. I also noticed some fruit cup from Delmonte produced in China. And Thailand as well. Great fruit from a polluted country and a second country on the verge of revolution. No chances of a ticked factory worker tampering there...

Why do the folks in the US call poultry chicken,? a chicken is a baby fowl, not a mature bird. Not too much meat on these chickens. Just wonderin.
