Not surprised. At first I saw the fluff pieces on home learning but haven't seen squat in weeks. In NYC they don't even want to conduct live on line learning anymore when it come to public schools.

My granddaughter is teaching "video school" from home with the help of a 4-year-old and a 9-month-old.
It's hard for her students as they are high schoolers on the spectrum and the lack of a routine school day is especially hard on them.

CA schools will not reopen this term and most hope to start again mid-August.

Our governor (N.J.) had declared the same. Apparently he has the support of educators. According to NJ.com, educators praised his decision. He does want to find a way to honor those who are to graduate in June.
