Our new lamp

I’ve been looking forever for something for the end table in our living room. I wasn’t sure exactly what I was looking for but I knew I’d know it when I saw it!!

Because my decorating is somewhat bohemian, finding a lamp that fit our tastes and my decorating style was quite a challenge. I’ve been looking for months. Every time I had to run an errand to a home goods discount store like At Home or Home Goods, or was in places like Walmart, or even Goodwill or other thrift stores, I’ve been on the alert!

I found this at Home Goods, in their clearance section, 75% off! Such a steal!

This is my lamp.. it's showing white in this picture I've just taken, but I have it set on yellow.. and I don't know why the lightbulb is showing through in the picture because it can't be seen like that in real life.. Anyway this lamp goes though all colours from every shade of red and purple, through to greens , blues oranges, yellow and white.. and with the white it has 5 different tones..

That's lovely one @hollydolly. I needed something off the floor with the lampshade, still my kitten thinks it's an extra scratching post for him. He climbs on the library and claws at the ready 😪😪😪

Mine came with an extremely long LED Bulb kind of octagonal.

Great lamp! I love your decorating style. You might appreciate my latest find at Hobby Lobby. Half price! As a child of the sixties, I was really into macrame.

Ok Ronnie, I’ll hold you to that, I have been looking for a new lamp but very attached to this one, just a basic lamp, dosn’t make the tea or anything, but I love it

It was so funny to see my sofa and cushions almost the same as yours, shows what great taste we both have ! ;):LOL:
 
At first glance, it appeared this lamp was 6 ft tall! But then, the subsequent photos revealed the true size. Quite unique and striking! To me, it would also be a nice addition to an oriental decor.
