I used to collect owls. Decades ago, when I really couldn't afford it, I bought a Swarovski crystal owl, but his little ear got broken so I don't display him anymore. He's a good size compared to the other figurines they displayed and was so sparkly and pretty. Here's an internet picture. I used to have other owl items as well.

I thought about collecting owls, but decided to keep on not collecting anything. I really like them. I went to an owl sanctuary once. I think it was in NH. They had a lot of different species and it was great to see them in person. Although, I would not want to be a caged bird. Or a caged anything alive, I suppose. The cages were very large, not like a home-style bird cage.
