Ozempic good or bad

My wife's doctor recently started her using Ozempic for her Type 2 diabetes. We have really been pleased with the excellent improvement in her daily numbers, with no modification to her daily diet. I ran across an article that warned about harmful effects on vision following long term use. I have only found one such comment in my reading and it wasn't from one of the highly recognized clinics that we all tend to accept as valid authorities. My wife only takes the lower dosage of .025 and it is our hope she won't need to take a greater dosage. Anyone else have any solid information on this topic?

It's good for people who use for it's intended purpose of diabetes. However many lazy sheeple are falling for the just weight loss marketing that's making the companies billions. But if they want to damage their health and risk theirs lives....... that's on them.

I use it along with several other medications.

I’m not sure if it makes much difference for me.

The only criticism that I’ve heard is that it’s necessary for life unless and until the user makes beneficial changes in the way that they eat and exercise.

The new wonder drug that has been most helpful to me is Jardiance, that has made a significant difference in my blood sugar and in my ability to manage my food choices.

I have absolutely no idea if any of these wonder drugs are harmful or beneficial to my body over time but I’m really not too concerned at this point in my life.

Many years ago a diabetes specialist prescribed a semaglutide for my wife’s diabetes.
He said that it was a new at that time treatment and that it could possibly stabilize her diabetes.
It made her very sick and the doctors said that she was allergic to the gila monster blood extract that the drug contains.
