With his ongoing battle with PD and his history of serious drug abuse..it's seriously taken it's toll on him at 74. Very sad to see.:(

here he is today on a walk with his carer..

Yikes! He's all tilted. Is that Parkinson's or scoliosis?
eta
also, I notice he's mouth breathing

what do you think it is ?...
He's got a lot going on. His discs have compressed in his back, showing real bad back problems like scoliosis, humpback (see how he holds his face down); probably arthritic, some water retention, he's a complete mess; remember when he was studied to see why he's still alive? (or was that Keith Richards or both?). He breathes like he has lung problems, poor guy is wheezing.

He walks on his own, that's a good sign.

At least he's not needing any device to keep him upright, he's traveled the world (Several times) he's hobnobbed with royals and monarchs and officials. Went on some incredible trips (drugs) and mostly leaves this world a legend.

Pity him? No, he's still Ozzy.

Remember M. J. Fox is also fighting PD and he wasn't a drug abuser. So I doubt it was that causing his suffering.

No-one knows what causes PD... my own father died from it...

How sad. He looks much older! I can imagine how his family is feeling. It's so hard watching our loved ones deteriorate. My husband went from being a very handsome, fit looking man who younger men asked for advice on how to stay looking young like him, to an "old man", seemingly over a matter of months. His health declined during that time and once the health issues started, he was hit with several critical diagnosis. hospitalized three times. In 3 -1/2 months he was gone.

According to some articles, he had a bad fall four years ago, which screwed up his neck and his back.
He has a home not too far from me, and he and Sharon go there a lot, and while there he fell off his Quad bike and really hurt himself.. however that was 20 years ago in 2003...

Just like my mother, one tweak, she was lost to Alzheimer's. 9 months gone.

Considering he was diagnosed with PD 20 years ago and probably had it prior to that, Ozzy is doing quite well in the course of the disease. The media would have curated the photos to find the most dramatic ones they could. His care person isn’t even holding on to him.

My father also had Parkinson’s Disease, and it peeled him away one layer at a time like an onion. He never abused drugs, and had no known risk factors. It’s a cruel, dehumanizing disease that can track somewhat differently in its victims although there are commonalities affecting balance and movement which Ozzie clearly displays. My father towards the end couldn’t sit upright in a chair without being propped up…

My Father neither took drugs..barely ever even took a painkiller.. he was usually very healthy all his life.. and he never drank alcohol ....so like yours he had no known risk factors...

They returned to the UK I believe? He is walking without assist. It's a bit scary to see.

I was never a fan of his music but I liked their TV show on MTV and I read Sharon Osbourn's book.

It’s very shocking to see him so frail looking. The last time I saw him was on tv for a music awards live show. He played with Post Malone and it sounded great. This is quite sad. Poor Sharon. 🙁

My darling Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 76. He slowly got worse with his movements and speech. Poor Mother couldn't cope as she had her own health issues. It was decided to have him in a nursing home, where he got the best treatment, although he hated being there. We all thought my Dad would pass on before Mother but no, she had a fall in a supermarket and died 6 months later before the court case came up because of the supermarket's fault in not cleaning up the floor. Darling Father died 6 months later.
