is there some new regulation about UPS delivery? I mean UPS tracking says package out for delivery but they will deliver it to the USPS which will deliver my package. UPS no longer delivers to me,whats up?

Its nothing new, lots of companies have been using it for several years. Its a sort of big batch shipping thats cheaper for the company. Fedex does it too.

Amazon does all the delivering around here.

I hate when that happens. Amazon does that a lot as do other companies. One big problem with that is if the post office misplaces your package (and Lord knows that has happened too often) the company that mailed it out cannot give you a USPS tracking number to help with locating the item(s). Neither can UPS provide such a number after the transfer. Been there, done that and it's a PITA.

For me sometimes UPS delivers directly, sometimes they hand-off the package to USPS. They are just trying to ship the most economical route.

UPS using USPS. That irritates the hell out of me. For a bunch of USPS's idiotic regulations, they won't deliver to my door. I have to drive 9 miles to a Post Office, and standi in line, while some eBayer slowly mails 58 packages, EVEN though there is another post office about 1/4 mile from me.
My other gripe about delivery services is saying they will deliver on the 14th, but deliver the package on the 13th. And it's raining. And you aren't expecting it till tomorrow.

When tracking packages, I see them bounce from one service to another all the time.

Amazon does all the delivering around here.

I get Amazon deliveries thru the post office, and also UPS on occasion.

Been seeing the USPS deliver for amazon for some time...very irratating to me at least...we have rural mail boxes along this stretch of the street, so the carrier tries to force TOO LArge
of packages into them........

The only time I see this happening to me is if I choose free shipping on my items. It takes a few more days to arrive, but I always receive what I ordered.
