High school students in Attleboro, Mass., returned to school this week with the usual precautions in place for the pandemic. But already, about 30 students have been forced to quarantine for two weeks, though it's not because of a lapse in school protocol. Instead, it's because of what the mayor calls "egregious" judgment on the part of one teen's parents, reports WHDH. They sent their son to school on Monday knowing he had just tested positive for COVID-19.

Irresponsible parents, maybe Social Services needs to investigate the Childs home to determine his environment, if they are that uncaring what else might they uncover??

I'm not surprised. As a retired teacher, I can cite numerous instances of bad parenting.

It's not just parents. Back in July when Mississippi's Covid numbers were headed to their highest, a RN in her 60s in a nearby community felt sick and got tested. She felt better on Sunday and went to church. Got the positive test back on Monday.

We live in a culture of entitlement. You can see it even on SF and I think it's worse with each successive generation.

they send them dirty, sick, with head lice and when i was a kid there was one kid who kept getting sent to school with pinworms and gave them to all of us.
