parking lot gripe

I try to bring it home to where it belongs. You want to make it easy on the worker that has to collect the carts ll day and wheel them back inside the store. That can't be fun or easy.

I always return the carts where they belong regardless if there is return money involved because I think it’s the right thing to do.
Sorry if this offends anyone but it annoys me when I see carts left where they don’t belong by people too lazy to return them. If you are healthy and capable of making it to your car with the cart, then you are healthy and capable of returning the cart where it belongs.

I think the return your cart and get your 25 cents back at Aldi’s is the best idea. I seldom do this because I usually pass on my cart to someone going into the store.
Most of my car dings have been in Publix parking lot from the carts rolling around in the wind.
i like the cart "rental" at Aldi. makes for less need for someone to have to go round them up. as i'm leave the store, i look to see if someone is heading in and give them my cart. they usually try to give me the quarter but i just say give it to someone else. if there's no one to give the cart to, i just leave it loose with the others.

I always return them to the corral, but I need the extra walking. I also park far from the entrance. I understand some people having difficulty due to physical limitations. This guy annoy people who don't return their carts: (I think he's an idiot)

I love this!

Our world needs more people like Cart Narc IMO!

He hit it right on the head, people are lazy.

At most of our supermarkets you have to pay to use the carts, but not the wheelchair carts. I wonder, is that reverse discrimination?

No. "Reverse Discrimination" has a specific legal basis, at least in U.S. Jurisprudence. It would be just Discrimination, not reverse, IF at all that is.

the cart narc is an A-HOLE with little/no redeeming value!

since i started this thread, i think i'll go a little OT, but still parking lot related. i never have and hope to never need to use handicapped parking spaes. one supermarket near me (begins with W) has several (like 6-8) spaces dedicated to women/mothers with small children. have seen spaces reserved for pregnant people. that irks me.

now that i think about this... i think they whole thing was staged! will have to go back and watch a bit of it. wasn't this offending cart right between the 2 cars. how did the people get in/out of their cars?

Thank you for the legal explanation. My remark about reverse discrimination was of course ironic and not meant to be taken literally
