PC Speakers vs Soundbars

Most time for tablets the sounds are off. The only time we get speakers are via headphones. Usually mornings.
In our bedroom, we've an older television, near 6 years, and the sound isn't all that great with it. So, we have a Goodman's Splash cylindrical speaker. It's usually located between our pillows. Means we listen to all hours without disturbing our sleeping neighbours lol.
Used to have a soundbar with first flat screen TV. It didn't last long. As we've changed that TV after it became irreparable, the sounds so great on the new one that a soundbar isn't required

Being basically cheap and uncritical, I recently "upgraded" a PC from using the speakers in the monitor with a 7 inch wide stereo USB speaker. Nothing to charge, one cord.
