People eat out because?

I don't know why people eat out. We only eat out if we are stuck in town and won't be going home for awhile.

I eat out as a way of socialising, living alone, it’s nice to dress up and go out to share a meal with friends rather than having them to the home with all the bother of cooking etc.

Easier now to have it delivered and not get out, dress up, fight Houston traffic. My daughter has a door dash account and will have food from a nice place delivered to my house and we enjoy being together!

Novelty and convenience are the factors most often involved in eating out for me. I tend to order things or combinations that I'm less likely to make or have at home. A "soup to nuts" experience is far easier at a restaurant, where Everyman may be king of their palate...

I love cooking. I get what I want. I don't have a deep fryer and go out for coconut shrimp and a beer. I love pub food.
