Two ways to look at that.
One where Hollywood portrays thieves breaking in taking objects like jewelry, collectibles & whatever may be of high value.
Another a Netflix series Drugs Inc show drug users with a $200.00 or $300.00 a day habit breaking in to take anything that could be sold for whatever they could get for it.
I don't mean to offend when I post the downside of your post showing the kind of information you began with. My posts are just a different point of view about how I perceive what I see & read.
There is good news from Stillwater N Y. Looks like that town is taking a pro active approach to drug use.

You probably read nvtribefan post where finding anyone is possible but when asked to find my home without the kind of info you posted there was no reply to that.
The other post bragging about all they had and how secure they felt didn't show directions like you did nor was there dollar value put on what was claimed to be available to take.
Both those have a different opinion than me, both good input and that is what makes forums work.
Not considering the potential isn't wrong just not something I would ever do. I tend to look at what I see taking place in America now and drug use since the days of Nancy Reagan and the "just say no" era have increased.

Debodun, you're not alone! People have trouble finding my house too. I tell them my driveway is straight across from a sign. I tell them what the sign says and they still go one drive farther which takes them to the wrong house. Then they call me and have to "walk them through" the directions. I have been led to believe some people just can't follow directions even if their life depended on it.

They did that on "Myth Busters" recently. Only about half of the people they tested with driving directions could pass. Also, there were virtually no difference between the sexes. As many men as women passed or failed following driving directions.

The point of my post was to point out the relative seclusion, trees, mapping, place to park unnoticed all make it easy for anyone surfing senior sites to consider debodun's place as a target.
No mystery older people are more trusting. Also no mystery that drug addicts rob to feed the need. Easy to agree that getting to the home can be difficult not so easy to point out that trusting can be turn out badly. My intent wasn't to cause debodun stress, only to point out the potential which may not have been considered.
