Personal items found in bag

People should really look through stuff before giving it away. Last week, someone left a bag of items on the give away table at the Senior Center. I took it and sorted through it to see if there was anything I could use and what I didn't want, I'd bring back. There were some address labels and family photos which I assume were put in the bag by mistake. Also, I assume the address labels and the family photos are from the same donor. The address on the labels is not that of the Senior Center, so apparently they do not live there.

The address stickers are probably not that urgent, but I wonder if the photos are. I feel funny about going in person to the address on the stickers. The person may have passed on and the family just stuffed things in a bag and brought to to the Center to leave, so mailing them to that address may not work, either. What should I do?

I agree with what the others suggest, either take the bag back to the senior center or mail the photos and address labels to the address. I personally would not go in person to the residence.

The address labels may no longer be valid. I have business cards from 30 years ago, I retired 20 years ago. They are handy to write notes on.
