Can't you have one where you live Pinky? I wouldn't be without a dog or cat, I have both right now.
 
No, SeaBreeze, we are in a 'no pets' condo. My married daughter has a 3 mo. old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but they aren't allowed to bring her to visit. Then again, she's not ours. We always had x-labs. I hear you jujube, I still miss our last dog, and always will.
