I remember seeing Peter, Paul, and Mary in concert in Syracuse, and seeing them sing Puff, the Magic Dragon.

It feels so bad.

They would perform at the D.C. marches I attended. Don't remember if I ever paid to see them, they would often just show up.

Always found Peter to be handsome.

Sigh.

I have always loved their music. It is sad to see this, although he lived a long fruitful life.

I went to see them as a high-schooler. A radio station in my city was sponsoring the concert and admission was 88 cents, because they were W88 or something like that. It was mind-blowing to me.

Inspired me to become a folk-singer (poorly) and learn to play the guitar (badly). Luckily, you didn't have to sing or play the guitar well back then as long as you were singing and playing guitar with someone who knew how to sing and play well....LOL. Pretty much all I had to do was grow my bangs down to my eyelashes, iron my long hair, slap on a lot of eyeliner and wear a poncho and bell-bottom jeans and VOILA! I was a folk singer.
