These are nice antiques and to a collector are worth some dough. I started out in my work life serving a tool and die apprenticeship. After I got my trade papers and working for a large U.S. company for about 7 years, I thought there has to be more in life that making tooling for stamping dies. I liked cars a lot and my dad kind of lead me to refurbishing cars.
After a few years and learning the ins and outs of the business, I made the decision to go into the business full time. I never had a desire to refurbish antique cars, so I settled on doing classic cars only. I refurbished over 300 vehicles with the help of my 2 employees, who were really good mechanics. The sewing was done by a local vendor that sews upholstery for used car dealers around here and my one guy does a great job airbrushing and painting.
When I get some time, I am going to post some pictures.
