Just what we need now to learn young pets given homes as puppies will suffer from separation anxiety as people go back to work. This means in many cases the animals will chew on things to relieve the stress of being alone.

This is my baby. He has severe separation anxiety since 2010 when I was in the hospital for 11 days due to a heart attack. He is almost 12 years old now. He will not eat or drink when I'm gone, so wherever I go if more then one day he goes to or I don't go. He loves to travel, our last adventure was to California for 2 weeks, driving 3 years ago. I feel sorry for pets who suffer from this 17142447_10154781817251321_207554747_o.jpg1487338_10200790360431399_1084662252_n.jpg1897913_10201143637583107_610253904_n (2).jpg483153_2737837055170_1060798263_n (2).jpg

Well, in truth, I think one of our dogs gets separation anxiety, but she gets over it quickly once we are home. Dogs live in the moment. Mostly, according to our spy cam, they sleep when we are gone. According to the pet sitter, Pippin refuses to eat the first day we are gone, but after that she eats. So anxiety? Maybe a bit, but I'm not going on that guilt trip.

Maybe the young pet needs an ‘emotional support human.’
