Phoenix shootings

Some idiot is taking shots at passing vehicles on the Highways in Phoenix. If they don't catch this fool, someone is going to get killed.

This same kind of activity has been going on along I-25 leading North from Denver. It's this kind of stupidity that gives gun owners a bad name.

Sadly in the gun culture of the US it's hard to give gun owners even a passingly good name. There's just too many guns out there and nobody is going to stop it. The last several shootings including the one on air, were all legally owned weapons.

The Phoenix shootings have caused copycat incidents now too. The original shooter was using bullets but there have been others that apparently were either bb's or pellets (unconfirmed). Most of the original shootings were on I 10. FBI, DPS and Sheriff are trying to pin it down and make an arrest. There's a 20k reward for information leading to an arrest. Lot's of "tips" pouring in.

I think they have or had a similar problem near Michigan over the last year. I've also seen stories of rocks and stones being dropped on car from over passes. If a prank they don't realize the severity of the actions. I could be a test to escalate into something else. Scary.
