Phone Recommendations For Me, Please?

I hate my phone... and it stays turned off. It's a Tracfone plan on a Samsung Galaxy A10e phone. Yearly renewal and 400 minutes is $100. Always sufficient... but golly, Tracfone's been a frustrating bear when trying to get into my account. Sooooo, can someone recommend a good phone/plan that does ONLY voice and text? I don't need a smart phone... never used that part. I want a yearly prepaid renewal like I have now and not a monthly fee. Thanks... if such an animal even exists! (Editing to say I know they exist, but I'd like to hear of experiences with them so I can avoid the troublesome ones.)

I use T-Mobile and for the past four years it’s a prepaid plan with a flat fee of 15 per month with no taxes or extra fees added. It’s unlimited text and talk and 3 GB of data per month. It may have gone up in the past four years for this plan and I don’t know what that would be.

I have the same phone and plan. I don't think much of the Galaxy A10e . . . it's not much of a phone . . . but for the little I use it for it's sufficient. I haven't had any significant problems with Tracfone. I have given some thought to replacing the "plastic slab" with a flip phone with actual buttons. I've had occasion in the past to need to dial blind (by touch). You can't do that with a touch screen.

I'm thinking flip, too, @Tommy . It's okay for me until it's time to buy another year... it locks me out of my account until I contact them via chat feature for them to fix. Happened the past three years now and they always see it's on their end, but don't know why it does that. I'd love to have something that doesn't involve the hoop-jumping.
 
I have Tello which uses the T-Mobile network. $14 a month for unlimited talk and text with 5GB of data for a simple smartphone I use for work only. My personal flip phone is unlimited talk and text with 1GB of data, $9 a month. No contracts, pay monthly.
 
I am happy with my motorola (MotoG) and my phone plan from Metro (owned by T-Mobile) I have unlimited time and data and insurance in case something happens to the phone; all for $36.00 per month
 
I have always had Apple Pro phones and iPads. They work fine with AT&T Sim cards and 5G now..
I'm not all the great of fan for 5G, LTE always worked well for me, sure hope 6 G solves its problems.

That's great. T-Mobile is always contacting me to sign up with them. I have Metro which is owned by T-Mobile. Do you have a smart phone?
 
You can go to Tello's website and view their plans. GSM bandwidth only (T-Mobile network). If you have a CDMA bandwidth phone (Verizon network) than check out US Mobile which is very similar.
 
I have an Samsung 14 phone and MetroPCS service. For $60 a month, I get unlimited minutes, data and 1.5 GB hotspot. The hotspot is great and Wi-fi service often stays on when I'm not at home. If not, I just use the hotspot, which is secured. Included in that $60 is a free Amazon Prime membership. a perk I got when I upgraded to unlimited. I couldn't be happier with the service. I needed a phone immediately when I bought it, but the local stores didn't have the model I wanted. I would've gotten a more expensive model (that someone here had recommended), partially because of better picture quality. Otherwise I'm happy with it. After my iPhone died, I was given a Samsung phone and decided to stick with that company.
 
Not much help here.
I have a MotoG that I'm happy with but it's still very much a smart phone.
My carrier is Consumer Cellular. No issues and customer service is English speaking, helpful folks.
But I'm on a monthly plan with Consumer Cellular.

IF I were looking to switch carriers, I'd be taking a hard look at Tello.
Like Consumer Cellular, Tello is praised for their customer service.
And a quick peek at their site shows a very wide variety of plans available.
 
Go to Best Buy...an associate will set you up.

I bought a cheap Android for $130.00 paid off...$30.00 a month plan. I get email, text, phone and a zillion other bells and whistles.

I've had Kyocera and Nokias before. I would contact Verizon and ask them about them. Maybe when I get older if they're still available I might switch back. The Nokia they have listed is only $89 to buy.
