Can you tell what it is yet?

I took these in 2009. The cars in the photo are actually full size. An Audi R8 and an Audi Streamliner. I think the Streamliner is from 1937?

I had to get into full contortion mode to get these photos. I'll post a photo of the full structure tomorrow. Unless you can guess what the full structure looked like and where it was.

They are sure interesting photos, and leaves me with a feeling of wanting to see more. But it may be a good time to quit. I don't actually want you to quit, but if the point is not quench one's thirst completely, which is a legitimate artistic device in my opinion, the objective has been met.

Can anyone guess where the photos were taken, & why the artwork was there? Bearing in mind, as I say, the artwork changes every year.

No, but I get where you are coming from. It's not in Germany; It's in the front one some ones house
Would this someone living in the house be very wealthy then?
Is it for entertainment purposes only?
Or is the person living in the house somehow affiliated with Audi as in business owner?

He's not affiliated with Audi, as far as I'm aware. You could say it’s partly to do with entertainment purposes.

The owner of the house allowed a car manufacturer to build a car factory in a 'corner' of his land.

To give another clue as to where I was when I took the photos. The event is thought to be the largest of its kind in the world. Racing drivers & celebrities from around the world attend, including members of the public from around the world. One time I was there I saw Jay Leno.

Here it is then, a photo of the full structure/artwork in front of someone's house. I had to get into some strange positions the get the photos I took at the very beginning of this thread. Much to the amusement of people passing by.

But where is it. 150,000 people attend this yearly event. When thinking of the name of this place, I believe it’s associated with a tree, known for good luck and longevity?

I can’t help wondering whether one of the SF members here, horslesscarriage , might feel at home at a different event that is held here, based on some of the clothes that Horselesscarriage likes to wear.

The photos were taken at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, on the Goodwood Estate, Chichester, West Sussex, England. Owned by Lord March, also known as the 11th Duke of Richmond, among other things.

He has a horse racing course on his property, along with an aerodrome & a motor racing circuit. Rolls Royce has a factory there.

In this short video you can see the artwork/sculpture. At the begining of the video & just as 5 Red Arrows aircraft fly over his house.

Goodwood Festival of Speed. The cars in this video aren’t on the motor racing circuit I mention. This is on a private road in front of his house.

It explains why I have never seen it yet live right on the doorstep. Interesting, thanks. Then the adjacent neighbour, the Duke of Norfolk, has just arranged the Coronation. Oh, to be born with a Silver Spoon in one's mouth.
