Or "me". Or "you". Or "that".“this!”
LOL That's who I'm usually asking, "Wots all this then?" What else do you say to a dog beside a turned over trash can with a Q-Tip in her mouth?"Cookie?" ... (most days I don't say anything except to the dog)
Gotta love the versatility.Or "me". Or "you". Or "that".
I know someone who gets livid when I say "whatever". He's the only person I ever say it to.I know a lot of people hate this, but when I get frustrated with something or somebody I just say "whatever" and walk away.
Sort of like, "file 13.""Deep six it" (throw it out). It is 64 years since left the Navy, but this expression has stayed with me.
...lol...only if you're of the Jewish faith...Londoners will know this, although these days, it's fallen out of use. When you want to emphasise the honesty of what you are saying, when someone makes a facial expression that looks sceptical, you spread your arms wide and say: "My life!" It means, on my life, suggesting damnation if you are lying.
I haven't heard that phrase since school... I'd completely forgotten all about it.."Are you trying to convince me or yourself".
...I don't think I use any expression on a regular basis... except maybe.. when someone's trying to pull the wool over my eyes.. then I would say.. do you think I came up the Thames on a Biscuit ?.. different variation from the Banana boat thing.....the other is Sugar... possibly the only other word I say regularly ..it replaces Feck..."As If"..
Def:...An expression to state that something is extremely unlikely or even impossible.
It's short for "As if...that were possible"
What's yours?
To be honest, it’s not a phase I use the most. It’s a phase I enjoy muttering under my breath now and again to help make me feel better and seems to work.“this!”
One I use a lot, doesn't really make sense unless you are not honest when not saying it... However, to be honest, it just comes out.To be honest
Well I’m by myself most of the time so is used for scorning the bad guys while watching movies, things I find unfair online, certain circumstances and I mean it every time. One I use a lot, doesn't really make sense unless you are not honest when not saying it... However, to be honest, it just comes out.
