Picky Eaters ??

I scored a 2.

Don't care for kombucha. Can't have grapefruit because I take statins, and the combo gives me instant nausea if I swallow any grapefruit. Fortunately no other citrus, including citron, Buddha's hand, or finger limes, causes an issue.

I love all offal except brains. Foie gras and sweetbreads are favorites for me and DH.

Not fond of durian, the "stinky fruit". Nice mild taste, but the smell is off-putting. And the taste isn't so distinctive that it seems worth putting up with that smell.

I'm okay with deep-fried pickles, which seems to be a thing in our area as a favorite bar food item, but they don't excite me. I have a problem with overly sour foods - interestingly, my niece loves really sour foods but doesn't like bitter foods, whereas I seldom have issues with the latter.

Ketchup has too much sugar. Sugar instantly causes my teeth to ache. It also wrecks my metabolism.

I had to look up kombucha. I'll pass.

Reports of adverse effects related to kombucha consumption are rare, but may be underreported, according to the 2003 review.[9] The American Cancer Society says that "Serious side effects and occasional deaths have been associated with drinking Kombucha tea"

I don't like the taste of grapefruit or any chocolate.

I was a vegetarian for 27 years, and I loved blue cheese. Now that I'm a vegan, it's off the menu. Seafood is obviously out. The rest looks like my normal diet.

I sent this list to my 49 year old daughter and asked if there was anything on this list she WOULD eat....not ONE thing, not even dark chocolate. She eats a lot of MILK chocolate.
