That is simply wonderful! Thanks for sharing! Big fan of Pink Floyd. I know of a wonderful David Gilmour anecdote or two. He had a huge house in the English countryside that he wound up not using for quite awhile. So, he decided to sell it. When he decided to sell it, he just decided that he had enough money and he donated the sales to charity. I believe it was something like $2 or $3 million.

Also, he was the guy who found and promoted Kate Bush. She was the (young daughter of a friend of his).
