Pistachio Cake I just Made

I made to take to the church fellowship meal tomorrow. Can't cut into it to show more - that would ruin it, but if there any left over, I can do that.

I love pistachios....

A friend makes key lime cake which is a pretty green color but I suspect food coloring is involved. Pistachio sounds good.

Definitely would be and so would anything store bought.

The pianist was having a birthday, so there were two store-bought cakes and someone else brought what looked like lemon and there were also cupcakes, so we were caked up. I'm surprised so much of mine was taken considering.

I made a Pistachio cake for Thanksgiving. I hadn't made one for years. I think it was a popular cake back in the 70's. I made an almond buttercream icing to frost the cake with. It was really good.
