Planned Obsolesence-France Says Shame On You

I found that a lot of things seem to be disposable these days, TVs, refrigerators, etc. don't last as long as they used to. If the prices on some things go down, the quality usually does also. I think it's good to put some pressure on the manufacturers to be more transparent about their product's longevity.

I think the manufacturers need to make products more repairable as well. Most products in decades past had more parts to them but that also made them more repairable because there were more things that could be replaced. They also used more screws now many things are welded or made as one non repairable component or part.
