Planning a trip to OK City

Next week we are going to OK City to visit the Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, which has recently reopened. I've been following their Facebook page, which has been manned by their head of security, Tim. He has done a wonderful job, providing sweet, innocent, funny, and technologically naïve posts. Maybe on purpose. Who knows. But totally fun and enjoyable. We have been to this wonderful museum twice, have never encountered crowds, and feel safe visiting again. The museum has protocols in place. The first time we went, I actually talked to Tom Selleck, who was there to receive an award. So cool. Anyway, I called the hotel directly, as I like to do to make reservations, and talked to a wonderful lady. Oklahoma is in phase three of reopening, and she informed me about what that meant. Told me about a good Mexican restaurant across the street. We chatted. I am confident we can do this safely. And I am sooo tired of Puerta Backyarda.

Oh! What a wonderful trip! Wish you were coming through here! I'd like to meet ya! But How was it to meet Tom Selleck? Was he gorgeous? I think I would lose my breath! Wow!!! Really, really, really enjoy your trip!!!

Thanks, I plan to have a great time. We were leaving the museum as he was entering. He stood for a picture, and was about to go in, and I blurted out, 'Love your Jesse Stone movies, Mr. Selleck!" He posed again, and told us to watch out for his new TV series (which turned out to be Blue Bloods). Just as handsome in person. The museum has an oil painting of him as Quigley Down Under. The museum also has a painting of Glen Ford that is so lifelike that it looks like he could step out of the frame. Alas, I lost the pics of Tom Selleck when my phone unexpectedly died. But I'd show them to people, and enjoyed watching their eyes get as big as saucers. LOL!
