This morning I went to Ace Hardware to buy a light bulb. My buddy Doug used work there then quit working there. There were the times when I would walk into the store and would yell out "Hay Douglas T where are you" and then I talk to my old buddy if he was there, or he would run off and hide in the back of the store in the break room. Then today chance I met the manager and ask about Doug then he told me he comes in the store about a couple times a week. Then I asked if he could do me a favor and I would be grateful that if he sees Doug again would he tell Douglas T that "Larry Dean says Hay to you". He chucked a bit and said, "I like that I'll do it" then I asked him if ask his staff to do the same and he chuckled and said "YEA". now I am in the wait game waiting for when I go to Ace Hardware and one of staff approaches me and says, "Douglas T says Hay back to you". OH, the joys of being retired.
