Lady friend of mine is in hospital with mild case of Pneumonia. This is her first time she has had Pneumonia at age of 70. Can she get this over and over? Thanks for the help.

Yes, she can. Good idea when she is over this bout ask her doctor about the pneumonia vaccine.

Was she tested for Covid? Just curious.
I have had pneumonia in the past (twice). Treated with antibiotics. Didn't have to be hospitalized.
Like Shero said, there's a pneumonia vaccine. I haven't had that yet.

I think it really depends on her overall physical condition. 70 is still young. My mother was admitted to the hospital a couple of times with pneumonia, but she pulled through each time. She was in her mid-80's at the time.

She had a test for the virus and came back ok. She was in hospital for three days with mild case the doctor said.
