I'm being out of this thread. Way too much ignorance. And just how do you know they consider their dogs expendable? Do you know that for a fact and how do you prove that fact, if in fact a fact.

Obviously, they wouldn't send their dog to certain death unless they considered him expendable. And just how do you know they consider their dogs expendable? Do you know that for a fact and how do you prove that fact, if in fact a fact.
Maybe you would understand if you watched the video in post #7.And just how do you know they consider their dogs expendable? Do you know that for a fact and how do you prove that fact, if in fact a fact.
Officers often send the dog in to attack an armed suspect for a reason. When the suspect kills the dog, that justifies the officers in killing the suspect because a police dog is considered to be a police officer.I totally agree it was extremely stupid to send the dog in. But after the suspect shot the dog I believe the officers shot him. I bet the officers hate themselves for that-sending Jack the police dog in. Suspect killed the dog then police killed him.
As much as I support and respect the policing agencies I strenuously disagree with this type of K-9 deployment.Sending a dog to confront an armed suspect is a selfish, thoughtless act by police officers who lack a conscience.
