Pollsters calling all day

I live in Virginia, where there is a hotly contested election for governor. I hate both candidates and probably won't vote at all. I get about two to three calls a day from polling organizations. Some are automated and some are "live" callers. Plus the airwaves are awash with political commercials. I'll be glad when November 2 comes and goes.

Not much different here.

It’s all election and Medicare related junk mail.

If it helps create a few jobs it’s not a total loss.

“I never tell anyone how I vote.” That usually stops them. If it doesn’t, hanging up terminates it too.

Good answer. I hang up on the robo calls, and when I tell the live ones I'm not going to vote, they usually say goodbye.

But I work from home and hate the interruptions. It's hard enough to get "flow" going without these stupid calls.

I'm not getting calls but I've gotten a couple of texts and those annoying giant sized mailings. I get two mailings at a time too because my son still uses this as his mailing address. Ugggh! Do you answer or let your machine pick up?

I have only a cell phone (by choice), and I do not answer numbers I don't recognize. If they leave a message, I listen to the first few words, and then start blocking numbers.
