Poor Lake Charles!

We were in Lake Charles last fall, on the way to Baton Rouge, and stopped to visit a Mardi Gras museum there. I thought it was a nice city, had a beautiful lake. We had a great lunch there. Now I see on the news how the hurricane has devastated the city. Bless you, Lake Charles. 2020 has been a sucky year for so many reasons.

The evening news showed some of the devastation which hit this area....and it may be weeks before power is restored to everyone, and most of the debris is removed. Then, it may be years before everything is fully restored. One of the reports said this was the worst storm. on record, to hit that area.

We stayed in a RV park there a few years ago and drove around the Lake Charles area. It was a lovely place with very friendly people. I feel so sorry for everyone there.
