I did a quick Google search and this is what I've come up with.

1
Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows

2

Right click the Windows Key (folder) and choose New - Key

Name the key Personalization

Click the new Personalization key

3

In the right hand pane, right click and choose New - DWORD 32bit

Name it NoLockScreen

Double click NoLockScreen and set its value to 1

4

Close the Registry Editor and Restart Windows for the change to take effect

That's It!

There are tons of ways to do it. I used to do it all the time when learning. It's in the function keys (fn) keys and timing. F12 at the moment of restart can you in to be reset the whole laptop. Try the f8 also. Just keep playing with those keys and exact timing. Safe mode also might help.

I researched this question and found nothing I'm comfortable with. The attached video (only 30 seconds long) sounds plausible, but risky, since it involves resetting the PC, but it does still allow an option to keep the files. The speaker talks very fast, so I'd need to take notes and keep them handy if I decided to try what he's suggesting.

I think administrator privileges are required to edit the registry, and it carries risks. If starting in safe mode will bypass the lockscreen, that would have the least risk.
