From the Mail today...
Around 1,600 of the vivid images were released by The Library of Congress, which depict what it was like on rural farmlands in America, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, from nearly 80 years ago.


I'm re- posting some of the photos because the Mail is notorious for removing articles in minutes if not hours...

I think they're fantastic photos , I agree with you Pinks... ..for the time the colour brings them so much to life and somehow not 80 years old despite the clothing and the old buildings... my mum would have been just around 6 years old at the time these were taken.....
