Precious Lilly crossed the Rainbow Bridge Last Night

MDB I also meant to say Lilly sure was tough and a trooper. She went through a lot these past couple of years. You and Mrs. Pecos did everything you could to maintain a good quality of life for her. Lilly was also such a cutie...a beautiful dog. Bless her..she's not suffering anymore. 💔

R.I.P Lily..🌺. you gave such joy to your humans now you get to play over the Rainbow bridge..forever..

Pecos, it is heart breaking to say goodbye. I am of the belief when we cross over we will be reunited with all our beloved companions once again. This belief has helped comfort and sustain me in times when I had to say goodbye. But it still hurts like h*ll..

Take Care and please accept my condolences,
Davey.

I'm sorry for your loss. I felt it. Grieve for now, but in the future, you will remember her with fond joy. I still remember my dog from over 20 years ago that way. I can remember the sorrow at his passing, but mostly I remember the wonderful times we shared together.

@Pecos
From deep in my heart, I give you loving condolences for your loss of LILLY.
There are no words to make the hurt, sadness, better.
The love in your heart for Lilly will still be there till the end of time, and hers for you, it will continue to grow, and give you comfort, and give Lillys’ sister the comfort she needs as well.
Rainbow visiting hours are 24 / 7.
You will hear her bark, you will hear her being happy, you will hear her sleep.

Lilly has been battling several health issues for the past few years: bladder cancer, epilepsy, and digestive problems. Late yesterday evening at the age of almost 14 1/2, everything seemed to converge, and she started having severe seizures that we could not get under control. I drove her up to the nearest emergency hospital in Columbia, SC, but to no avail. It became readily apparent that this wonderful little Bichon was finished, and it was time to let her cross the rainbow bridge.

While we knew this was coming, it still doesn't make it easier. We are grieving now, and the younger Bichon is lost without her older sister. The love of a good dog is so very special.

I have read that if you "don't know sadness, then you won't know joy." I suppose that is true, but it still hurts.
I'm so sorry. The aching grief of losing your pet is so very deep.
