I often bake something for our bridge club. Today it was rhubarb sour cream cake. Recipe said prep time was 10 minutes. Who are they kidding? Maybe that’s just assembly time but even that is way off. It doesn’t account for all the measuring of a dozen different wet and dry ingredients. And it definitely doesn’t account for me seriously underestimating how much sour cream on hand and the resulting trip to Aldi. LOL! So I never believe the prep times.
