Just more of this anti conservative trash talk. These industries in the US can not make profits so they take there business to where they can make profits. Simple as that. Otherwise they will just go out of business.
Why do the non productive folks fail to go forward. Just an observation that most don't really try for various reasons. Some have reached close to retirement and just not getting hired anymore. Some are short on the newest skills needed so they don't qualify. Lack of enough jobs for all. Pretty common in recent years with our slow economy. Raising wages will just add to the ongoing inflation and that will hurt those not making wages most.
This is not new these days as when I was let go on a layoff I was 59. Not many high tech jobs for me as a mechanical engineer and lead person. So I took a second shift job at another company as a contract employee for considerably less than I had been earning. Smaller wages and just doing what I was told. No decisions to make and not a lead job. About a year and then that contract job ended.
When I reached 62 I did step up and ask for my SS. Had to lay low for a few months to please the SS system but then continued to take part time jobs till after I had paid off the home loan. I have known many others that also kept going with part time jobs even with their degrees and experience. Some ended up working for places like McDonald's.
Now if some prefer to sit on their butts and beg government for more supports, that is all they will do. Race has nothing to do with those attitudes, it is just the way some folks prefer to operate.
My post was about the blacks in the US because someone put up some put down comments about blacks. I defended the blacks in the US and gave examples of those that did excel in the US. Then far too many are jumping on my second paragraph where I commented on those that prefer crime or whatever over doing what they can do to upgrade themselves. Why are so many of our population so willing to just hang around rather than take advantage of so many things available in the US to better themselves?
Education is free for the first 12 years. Then junior college and trade school is free or very low cost in many cities and states. Progress through these lower levels and do well and help in getting into more advanced schools and colleges can be arranged with financial help and student loans.
There is no end to opportunities in the US, if someone is willing to do the work necessary to achieve. Even now while times are tougher for most of us.
