I was wondering if any one on here suffers from it and what do you do to help with the symptoms,my hubby suffers with it ,but because it is very rarely heard of, Dr's tend to brush patient's off saying the problem is all in their head.
He has been given nitrolingual spray and tabs for when he has the attacks,which unlike normal angina the attacks happen mostly during the night ,and when you are relaxing.
The symptoms do not show up on ECGs when stress tests are being taken unless you are having an attack at the time of test.
The symptoms are brought on by stress and cold weather, and come in clusters,some times months or weeks apart.
D0ug Have you heard of it?and if so do you know of anything that can help.
It can be brought on from having several operations.
I have read on Prinzmetal's angina forums where a lot of the people take anti depressent's and
lots of statins, but he does not want to start taking those.
