Problems with EGO lawnmower purchased from Lowe's

I'm having problems with my EGO electric lawnmower that I purchased from Lowe's in April. Sometimes the motor control or the drive speed control doesn't work. The motor gets stuck wide open or the drive speed gets stuck at the lowest speed. I suspect the wires in the handle are getting pinched when I fold up the handle.

I could probably fix it myself if it's just the wires, but I don't want to void the warranty — especially since it's only four months old.

So, do I return it to Lowe's or do I need to send it to the manufacturer? I think Lowe's might own EGO.

When requesting warranty service, you must present the original dated sales receipt. An authorized service center will be selected to repair the product according to the stated warranty terms. Warranty

Yes - Ego is a premium brand and they will stand behind their product. I don't think Lowes owns Ego and the manufacturer is usually responsible for warranty claims unless it's an add-on, extended warranty you bought with the product and the problem occurs after the original mfg. warranty has expired. In your case, it'll be Ego or their assigned agent, that will rectify your issue.
