Problems with my PC

I am experiencing strange occurrencies with my computer!
There is also the occasional black screen crash.

When typing the keystroke is in advance of the letters reaching
the screen, sometimes by several seconds, not all the time.

I have replaced the old RAM and now have 16GB of new ones,
I even changed the motherboard battery, my keyboard and
mouse are wireless, I changed the batteries in each, the little
receiver I have put on to a USB extension and is on the desk beside
the keyboard, all of the above seems to have helped, but at times
the whole thing starts slowing down, I then clear the cache, then
restart the browser, which also helps for a while till it all falls over
again.

I am beginning to suspect the Motherboard, hoping that I am wrong.

Can any of you see what I have missed and not done?

Mike.

Is it a desktop, or laptop? What is your OS...Windows 10?....and have you been installing the updates? What are you using for an Anti-virus...and have you done a full scan? Are all your "drivers" up to date? Have you tried a Malware scan....MalwareBytes, CCleaner, etc.?? Generally, when a piece of the "hardware" fails....motherboard, etc., it doesn't "heal" itself.

Seems like something is running in the background perhaps. Did you try a disk cleanup from administrative tools? Your ISP might be overloaded with other users too. My 10 year old tower had a crazy problem. The copper fingers on the memory boards tarnished and made intermittent connection. A pencil eraser cleaned them and cured the problem.

Thank you all for your suggestions, I downloaded CCCleaner and
ran that, things are much better so far touch wood, but I have noticed
a slowing down just before I came here.

I will try other browsers to see if they are the same.

Mike.
