Procrastinating

I am the champion at putting things off till the last minute, once sewed a button on in the car while on the way to a party.

My latest stall now has me regretting my ways as being a reader I got a notice that the library closed last night, I knew this was coming but waited and now nothing to read except the back of the cereal box.

Who else procrastinates?

Have you no kindle or ipad and download books from amazon et al.... ?...

I have always been a really busy bee, but since I took early retirement 2 summers ago due to health probs caused by working such long hours, I have become a procrastinator... ( it's just another word for lazy ain't it?) I do tend to put non essential things off to the last minute now.

For example whenever I needed to leave home ( all my life) I have got everything ready well in advance, got my hair fixed, applied my make-up carefully , and stepped out looking the best I can.

Now.. I leave it to the last minute before I'm due to go out and grab the first thing I see off the rail, brush my hair, add some lippy, and go out.... and I know I don't look my best at all, but I just can't be bothered any more to take the time to do all the prep...

Also, Amazon provides free e-book reader versions for desktop PCs and Macs (which they also call a Kindle), so no need to have other hardware if you don't have it. Just buy the e-book, then download it and read.

I got really bad at procrastinating for a long while. I didn't used to be one at all. I'd get everything done I needed to and then some.

I have started working on my procrastinating but will get better in time. I'm starting to come out of it. It can become a serious problem or it did with me.

I have read books this way. It's actually easier to read off my big screen than a Kindle.
