Prosecutor fired after fighting with Uber driver

Dallas County officials have fired a prosecutor after she allegedly berated an Uber driver and accused him of kidnapping her during a Friday ride that was captured on audio.


Jody Warner, 32, allegedly insulted and harassed 26-year-old Shaun Platt as he attempted to drive her home from a bar late that night.


“She actually hit me,” Platt recalled during an interview with ABC News. “It was not how I expected my night to go.”

Stupid way to end a career. Sheesh.
 

It's scary that people like her are roaming the halls of justice.

IMO the booze only helped her to express the mean spirited feelings and thoughts that are already in her heart and head.
 
I have no sympathy for her. I keep thinking....years of college & law school, 6-figure salary & benefits, reputation --> OUT THE WINDOW.

I recall a (Taco Bell-?) executive was fired a year or so ago for something similar.
 
I saw her crying and saying her career is over. Then at the end of the segment the person reporting said "Ms. Warner says she has several job offers from other counties".

hmmmm.
