Word of the Day... Prosopagnosia

Prosopagnosia:
noun:
A neurological condition characterized by the inability to recognize the faces of familiar people.

My own brother failed to recognize me because he suffered from Prosopagnosia.

I have never heard of this word before, but that's no revelation.

Alzheimer's and Dementia patients suffer from prosopagnosia.
