Psychic nights and such are regarded as harmless entertainment by a lot of people. Others take such events very seriously. Wanting to contact the dead has naturally long fascinated mankind.
The Bible, forbids us to involve ourselves with all such matters. It asks us what business have the living with the dead? To me that is a wise question. Once people have departed from this world, they have gone and we remember them with love. Surely it is best and healthy to grieve and come to terms with loss which after all, comes to us all?
I believe when people do manage to contact who they think is a loved one, they are being deceived. The mediums are very clever, using cunning psychology or they are in the grip of bad spirits. Certainly they want your money. I think bad spirits can impersonate the loved one you seek. I believe evil spirits exist as well as good. Certainly many people can end disturbed by meddling with the unknown and the danger lies in inviting it all into your mind.
It is of course everyone's choice. Even if messages received are comforting, nobody really knows who or what is on the other side.
So has anyone ever been to a psychic evening and what was it like? I see them advertised but never been to one.
